Where do my conversions go?
Nowhere but your device. MarkLift has no servers. Output goes to your clipboard, a saved .md file, the share sheet, or your chosen markdown editor.
How do I convert without opening the app?
Use the share sheet. In Safari, Files, or Mail, tap Share and choose MarkLift — it converts and lets you copy or save the result right there.
What is AI Enhanced Cleanup?
It uses Apple Intelligence, on your device, to tidy converted text — fixing line breaks, rebuilding tables, and removing page numbers and headers. It needs a supported device; conversions still work without it.
A scanned PDF came out messy
Turn on AI Enhanced Cleanup for scans and images — it fixes line wraps and structure. The raw text is always kept, so you can switch back and compare.
Which formats are supported?
PDF (including scans), photos and screenshots, Word documents (.docx), web pages, CSV, JSON, XML, plain text, and markdown.
How do I restore my purchase?
Open Settings inside the app and tap Restore purchase. Purchases restore on any device signed into the same Apple Account.
